Review: San Francisco Salt Company Epsoak Epsom Salt

After a long day at work there is nothing I love more than coming home and relaxing in a hot bath. Now with the Epsoak Epsom Salt by San Francisco Salt Company I am able to soothe my aches and pains as well. This Epsom Salt is completely pure, and makes you feel like you're having a spa service right in the comfort of your own home.

To use this Epsoak I simply run a bath of warm water and add in a handful or two of this Epsom Salt. I love how it immediately makes my skin feel super soft and smooth, and it just adds that little something extra to my bath. This salt is a medium grain, but it dissolves almost immediately without leaving any residue at all. I really enjoy that aspect because other Epsom Salts that I have tried have left a gritty or grainy feeling on the bottom of my bath tub which I didn't enjoy. This Epsom Salt is completely unscented so it's great for anyone that has sensitivities to scents. 

I appreciate the fact that this Epsoak has so many different uses. I mainly use it in my bath after a long day and it helps soothe my achy muscles. I also use it if I've had a particularly long day of standing, I fill my foot tub with hot water and add in a bit of this soak. My feet are relieved and feel much more relaxed and not so stiff and sore. This soak is also great for soothing cuts, drawing out splinters, detoxifying your body, or whatever you can think of.

Absolutely everyone needs this in their home. It's particularly amazing to soak in a hot bath with this Epsoak when you are sick or feeling a bit under the weather. I can't wait to stock up on more of this!

I have used this salt as a body scrub on my knees, feet, and elbows. I mix a little with my regular body wash and it works wonders at gently exfoliating my skin leaving it soft and smooth!

Review: Sherpa Pink Gourmet Himalayan Salt

I love to cook, but under seasoned food is never tasty, I have lately only been cooking with the Sherpa Pink Gourmet Himalayan Salt by San Francisco Salt Company, and it has made my food taste so much better. This salt can be used for food or in a bath as a soak, and it comes in a range of grain sizes.

Since using the Sherpa Pink Gourmet Himalayan Salt I have noticed a dramatic difference in the taste of my food. Firstly, I find that I don't have to use nearly as much of this salt as with traditional table salt. I also find this Pink Himalayan Salt has a much more refined taste and it compliments my food very well.

I have yet to use this salt in my bath, simply because I love using it on my food, but I may try that in the near future. I would absolutely recommend the Sherpa Pink Gourmet Himalayan Salt to anyone.

After a long day at work there is nothing I love more than taking a relaxing hot bath, and I always love to add a little something extra to my water, and lately it's been the San Francisco Salt Company's Muscle Soak Bath Salts. This product has been working wonders on soothing my aching muscles at the end of my day.

As a licensed Esthetician, I am very familiar with the benefits of using Epsom Salts for the body. Some of the benefits include:

First off, let me say that I am absolutely in love with the scent of the Muscle Soak Bath Salts, they smell of Peppermint and Eucalyptus in the most perfect way, which makes me feel like I'm giving myself a luxurious spa treatment from the comfort of my own home. I would wear this scent as a perfume, and it would probably be amazing since I do work in a spa. To relax at the end of my day I run a very warm bath and add in about a handful of the Muscle Soak Bath Salts and they dissolve immediately. I enjoy how the scent of these bath salts gives me an added aromatherapy treatment, and it has really helped me with my congestion. 

If I have some sort of ailment, such as an achy back I add in a little more of the Muscle Soak Bath Salts, I add in about 2 cups or so. This makes the concentration of Epsom Salts higher, and thus works a little faster. I also use these bath salts mixed in with a little of my body wash to exfoliate my body as needed, I especially love to use this on my feet.

I personally am a huge bath taker because I find it relaxing, but for the days that I just don't have time I do take showers. The Muscle Soak Bath Salts can be used in the shower as well, simply sprinkle some of the Muscle Soak on your feet and rub them together. This will gently exfoliate your feet, and the scent will fill your shower for that nice aromatherapy.

I am completely hooked on the San Francisco Salt Company's Muscle Soak Bath Salts. I'm going to need to buy the 20lb bag as soon as my current bag runs out! Get yours below:
