Review: Essence of Cleopatra Premium Thieves Oil

I am a licensed Esthetician and Makeup Artist, so one of my most favorite thing is all natural Essential Oils. I use them for everything including putting them in diffusers, using them as perfumes, and even mixing them in oils when doing a service at my spa. The Premium Thieves Oil from Essence of Cleopatra is a wonderfully scented essential oil made from Clove, Eucalyptus Radiata, Cinnamon, Rosemary, and Lemon.

·         Rinse your skin and apply a toner

·         Let that sink in, and when your skin is dry apply a serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen.

The gold in the serum looks absolutely beautiful in the bottle as well as on the skin. It is said that gold can help with anti-aging benefits such as loss of elasticity and loss of collagen. I have noticed that my skin has been much more soft and supple since using this serum. I actually tested this serum out by applying it on one of my cheeks and not the other. I let that sink in for about an hour then I felt my skin. The cheek where the serum was applied was noticeably softer and looked more well hydrated. I really enjoy this product. The only down side for me is the scent. It’s supposed to smell of Rose extract according to the Amazon page, but it smells exactly like strong baby powder to me. It’s not that big of a deal I can still stand it and especially since the serum is so great I don’t mind too much. This serum would be great for all skin types even oily or acne prone. Review: Instanatural Seaweed Powder

I have been using Instanatural Seaweed Powder for facial masks for a while now & I would love to tell you all about it! This Seaweed powder is great because it’s only ingredient is 100% pure Kelp powder. I love a product that doesn't have any crazy harsh chemicals in it,  with this one you know exactly what you’re putting on your skin. How I use this product & my opinions: 

I have used the Instanatural Seaweed Powder as a facial mask and I saw wonderful results immediately. I cleansed my skin normally then I mixed a teaspoon of the seaweed powder with a little honey and some warm water, and applied it to my face, neck, and decollete with a fan brush. I left the seaweed powder mixture on my skin for about 30 minutes. It dries on your skin so removal is a little difficult, but just take your time and be sure not to scrub your skin too vigorously. As soon as i removed the mask my skin was a little pink which is good, it means the blood is to the surface & it will leave you with bright glowing skin! Once my skin dried it was the softest I have ever felt it in a LONG time, the only feeling I can attribute it to is like after getting a Microdermabrasion. My face also felt very firm I joked with my friend that it felt like I got a face lift. 

Overall I think the Instanatural Seaweed Powder is amazing. It left my skin feeling soft and firm, and looking bright! The only small downside I found is the smell, it definitely smells from the sea, but that is to be expected since it’s only ingredient is 100% pure kelp powder. On the packaging it actually says if the scent bothers you at all you can add a few drops of an essential oil. Honestly the smell isn't THAT bad, once you apply the mask you hardly notice it.

I can’t wait to try this as a body wrap! A word of advice from an Esthetician, if you do use this as a body wrap product, be sure to drink PLENTY of water afterwords since seaweed is so detoxifying!

This product feels great when it’s on your skin I can really tell that it’s getting rid of all of the excess dirt and oil. Once I cleansed my skin, I washed off the cleanser with cool water to close my pores, then I toned and applied moisturizer. My skin immediately felt extremely soft and smooth and looked slightly more radiant.

Review: San Francisco Salt Company Epsoak Epsom Salt

After a long day at work there is nothing I love more than coming home and relaxing in a hot bath. Now with the Epsoak Epsom Salt by San Francisco Salt Company I am able to soothe my aches and pains as well. This Epsom Salt is completely pure, and makes you feel like you're having a spa service right in the comfort of your own home.

To use this Epsoak I simply run a bath of warm water and add in a handful or two of this Epsom Salt. I love how it immediately makes my skin feel super soft and smooth, and it just adds that little something extra to my bath. This salt is a medium grain, but it dissolves almost immediately without leaving any residue at all. I really enjoy that aspect because other Epsom Salts that I have tried have left a gritty or grainy feeling on the bottom of my bath tub which I didn't enjoy. This Epsom Salt is completely unscented so it's great for anyone that has sensitivities to scents. 

I appreciate the fact that this Epsoak has so many different uses. I mainly use it in my bath after a long day and it helps soothe my achy muscles. My feet are relieved and feel much more relaxed and not so stiff and sore. This soak is also great for soothing cuts, drawing out splinters, detoxifying your body, or whatever you can think of.

Absolutely everyone needs this in their home. It's particularly amazing to soak in a hot bath with this Epsoak when you are sick or feeling a bit under the weather. I can't wait to stock up on more of this!

The Michael Todd True Oganics Cleanser rinses clean but doesn't leave my skin more dry than when I started.

To use this cleanser I simply wet my face with warm water, add some cleanser to my fingertips and work it right in to my skin. I sometimes use an exfoliating brush when cleansing just depending on how dry and flaky my skin is that day. I  then rinse, let my skin air dry, tone, and apply my favorite serums and moisturizers.

This cleanser has made my skin feel much more soft, and it looks very bright. I have honestly noticed that I don’t wear ANY foundation at all anymore unless it’s a special occasion like Christmas dinner or something. I would recommend this cleanser to anyone that wants to have bright youthful looking skin without having their skin dry out.

A few notes about what you will experience:

• Your skin may get pink or red, this is normal. A pink or red flush is actually a good thing, this means the blood is to the surface of your skin and once the color subsides, you will see a bright glow!
• Always I repeat, always, use a sunscreen every single day. This will prevent major sun damage to your skin.

The Michael Todd True Organics Wild Berry Peel has worked wonders on my skin. I suffer from extremely dry and sometimes flaky skin, and since I have been using this peel it has felt much softer and been very bright. I get all kinds of compliments on my skin lately. When I take clients for facials they say, "You're definitely in the right business, your skin looks amazing".

This peel comes in a great pump bottle which I love, that way you can easily administer exactly the correct amount of peel, and you aren't wasting anything. The peel itself is a thick gel consistency so it's not running all over your face, and it has a very mild scent. To me it smells somewhat of Cayenne Pepper, however that is not an ingredient in the peel.
