Review: Bellaboo Buff Skin Facial Exfoliator

I am a licensed Esthetician and Makeup artist, so one of the things I recommend most in my treatments is a regular exfoliation. Exfoliation of your skin on a regular basis can be great for all skin types, for oily skin it will cut through the oil and keep your pores open, and for dry skin it gently buffs away all of your flaky skin leaving it soft and smooth. The Bellaboo Buff Skin Exfoliator is a natural facial scrub that would be perfect for every other day use to keep the skin bright, soft, and radiant.

What are the features?

·         Bamboo extract brightens the skin tone and loosens clogged pores

·         Rice bran powder heals blemishes, absorbs dirt and oil, and balances the natural oils in the skin

·         Certified Organic sea buckthorn berry oil balances oil production and is antibacterial

·         Rose Geranium oil balances sebum and cleans up oily skin

·         Ylang flower oil normalizes sebum production and balances your skin

This Bellaboo facial scrub is great because it’s all natural there is no need to put harsh chemicals on your skin, this facial scrub works perfectly without them. I enjoy the fact that this scrub is a very fine consistency, yet it’s gritty enough to get the job done very well.  

How to use this scrub:

·         Remove all of your makeup using a makeup wipe, or another makeup remover

·         Cleanse your skin as you normally would

·         Apply some of this scrub to your fingertips and, working in small sections, work this scrub in to your skin all over in circular motions

·         Rinse your skin and apply a toner

·         Let that sink in, and when your skin is dry apply a serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen.

I have been using this Bellaboo Scrub for a few weeks now and I have noticed dramatic differences in how bright and soft my skin is. I normally suffer from extremely dry flaky skin especially in the winter, and with this scrub my skin has stayed soft and youthful looking. Review: Yumi Beautiful Vitamin C Serum

Everyone wants bright youthful looking skin these days, so when I got the chance to try the Yumi Beautiful Vitamin C serum I was very happy. This serum is a lightweight watery consistency, so it sinks into the skin immediately and it doesn't leave any residue whatsoever. 

What is a serum and what will it do for my skin?

 Serums are basically targeted treatments with highly concentrated ingredients designed to be quickly absorbed into the skin. The Yumi Beautiful Vitamin C Serum will brighten, firm, and hydrate your skin while boosting collagen and elastin production. It will actively combat the signs of aging by fighting free radical damage.

The Ingredients:

• Aloe: A natural skin moisturizer and anti-inflammatory agent, Aloe will hydrate and soothe your skin.
• Vitamin C: Will fight free radical damage which means it will make your skin look bright and youthful. Vitamin C is also great at protecting your skin from sun damage, but you still should always wear sunscreen. 

This serum also includes; Licorice, Green Tea, Pomegranate, Blackberry, Cranberry, Grape, Acai, Bearberry, Goji Berry, Noni, Raspberry, and Kale.

Pros & Cons: 

Pros-

• The Yumi Beautiful Vitamin C Serum makes my skin feel very smooth and soft.
• The serum sinks into my skin immediately and doesn't leave a sticky feeling behind.
• My skin does look more hydrated and doesn't have as many dry patches.
• I like that this serum comes in a pump instead of a dropper bottle, it's very user friendly.

The Cons-

• I wish this serum was a thicker consistency, it is a little watery feeling so it does drip off of your hand while you are trying to apply it.
• There is no scent at all, that may be a good thing to some people, but I like some scent to my facial products.

Review: Foxbrim Complete Anti-Aging Moisturizer

I love Foxbrim's products, they are always great and this one is no exception. For those of us that are always busy I know a lengthy skincare regimen might not always be possible, so multi-purposed products are our best bet. The Foxbrim Complete Anti-Aging Moisturizer takes the place of a serum, targeted treatment, and a moisturizer saving us a few steps. This moisturizer has added retinol and antioxidants to target the visible signs of aging and to keep our skin looking healthy. 

The Ingredients:

• Vitamin A: Will gently exfoliate the skin from the inside out making it look for youthful and radiant. When using a product that uses Vitamin A always wear a sunscreen and let your Esthetician know before getting any chemical peels! Retinoids degrade in sunlight, so use this moisturizer at night right before bedtime so you can get the most out of this moisturizer! 
• Jojoba Oil: The closest natural oil to your skin's own sebum, this oil works great with your skin to deeply hydrate without clogging your pores.
• Aloe: A natural moisturizer and anti-inflammatory agent, Aloe will soothe and hydrate your skin.

Pros:

• This is a light moisturizer and it sinks into my skin almost immediately
• It leaves absolutely no residue on my skin
• My skin feels noticeably tighter after using this moisturizer
• I like that this moisturizer comes in a pump so you don't have to dig your fingers in a jar and contaminate the whole moisturizer
• My skin looks much brighter and feels baby soft

Cons: 

• This is a very lightweight moisturizer, so if you suffer from extremely dry skin this may not be enough moisture for you. This would still be a great treatment for anti-aging, just add a heavier moisturizer on top.
• This has absolutely no scent to it, for me that is a con because I like a refreshing scent to my facial products. Some people however would see this as a good thing it's all about preference!

The Foxbrim Ultra Lift Treatment will help restore skin's Collagen and Elastin making you look youthful. It will also heal your skin with the added ingredient of Panthenol. This is a perfect moisturizer for anyone looking for younger looking skin, or someone that has very dry skin.

The only negative I can even say about this product is that it has absolutely no scent. Some people love that, but I like having a little scent to my moisturizer it just makes me feel like I'm doing something super luxurious.

Review: Ashieda Konjac Sponge

I have been using the Natural Clear Skin Cleansing Sponge by Ashieda for a few weeks now and it makes washing my face a breeze, my face feels super soft afterwards. The Konjac Sponge is great for all skin types, and has a very fine texture so it exfoliates without leaving the skin feeling overworked.

How to use the Konjac Sponge by Ashieda:

• soak the sponge in warm water until it re-hydrates
• squeeze all of the excess water out of the sponge
• apply cleanser directly to your skin, or to the sponge (you can even skip this step & use the sponge alone!)
• work the sponge all over your face and neck in small circular motions with mild pressure
• rinse the sponge and squeeze out excess water
• use the sponge to wash the cleanser off of your face
• rinse and squeeze the sponge again
• hang to dry
