Review: Makeup Train Case

I am a licensed Esthetician and Makeup Artist so as you can imagine I have TONS of beauty and makeup products. I also often travel to do people's makeup so having a great quality makeup train case has been one thing I've wanted for quite some time. I've tried plenty of other ones and the quality just isn't very good, or they are way too small for what I need. This Glenor Beauty Makeup Train Case is very high quality, large enough to fit any products that I need, has a lock, and also comes with a shoulder strap.

My Opinions:

I absolutely love this train case. I appreciate the fact that it is such a sturdy train case, there is nothing worse than a low quality train case that feels flimsy and cheap, this one feels very high quality. I also enjoy the fact that this one comes in pink, it may seem silly but sometimes it's little touches that I appreciate. The adjustable compartments are also a life saver for me. Since I am a professional Makeup Artist I carry around a large variety of makeup, and depending on the job the items can change so I like the fact that I can change my case based on my need that day.

This case is the most perfect size for me. I can fit all of my beauty and skincare products in this case and not have to pick and choose what to bring and what to leave out, everything goes in this case with room to spare!

Another great feature of this case is the removable shoulder strap. I always have my hands full so it's great that this train case comes with a shoulder strap to throw on and go!

Review: Louise Maelys 32 Piece Makeup Brush Collection

As a licensed Esthetician and Makeup Artist, one of the most difficult things for me was making sure I had enough makeup brushes to use not only on my self, but on my clients. With the Louise Maleys 32 Piece Makeup Brush Collection and roll pouch, you will have enough brushes for absolutely any need!

This set comes equipped with 32 makeup brushes all individually wrapped and covered with brush shapers which is great so that your brushes maintain their shape. This set includes:

• Brow brush & eyelash groomer: great for brushing your brows into place and combing clumps of mascara out of your lashes
• Spoolie: Perfect for grooming your eyebrows into place or brushing through your lashes prior to applying mascara.
• Flat shadow sponge: helps pack intense shadow color onto the eyelid
• Rounded sponge: perfect for getting right into the lash line and smudging in your shadows or eyeliner for a more smoky look.
• 2 Small flat angled brushes: help fill color into your brows for a more dramatic look. They would also help smudge out the lower lash line for a smoky look.
• Two liner brushes: make applying winged eyeliner a breeze. These liner brushes would be idea to use with a gel liner!
• Flat rounded brush: The perfect lip brush! This brush makes applying your favorite lipstick super simple and gives the most crisp lines with no color bleeding.
• Flat top brush: another perfect brush for filling in the lash line. It helps pack intense color right into you upper or lower lash line.
• Small rounded tip brush: Helps with detail work, such as running a line of concealer underneath your brows and blending it out

• 2 Medium rounded tip brushes: Help pack on more intense color in smaller areas such as the outter corner of your eye. They would also make great lip brushes as well.
• Domed tapered brush: My favorite brush for getting into the crease of my eye and beautifully blending out shadows.
• Large flat angled brush: Creates the perfect super dramatic winged eyeliner.

• Two medium length rounded brushes: I use these to put concealer in small areas such as up under my eyes or underneath my lip for a crisp line
• Small pencil brush: Blends out eyeshadows in the crease and lower lash line
• Flat rounded brush: blends out concealer seamlessly
• Two medium flat brushes: pack intense color onto your lid

• Two thick flat brushes: Blend out eyeshadows for a dramatic look. I use these brushes to make a cut crease when I want a fun makeup look.
• Long flat brush: applies concealer in larger areas such as around blemishes
• Angled stipple brush: Stipples on color on the cheekbones or eyelids.
• Pointed foundation brush: Applies liquid foundation perfectly and gets into the harder to reach places of your face such as around your nose

• Angled fluffy cheek brush: Applies and blends out contour or bronzer perfectly
• Two blush brushes: Apply and blend out blush and bronzer
• Larger blush brush: Applies and blends out blush and bronzer in larger areas
• Powder brush: Applies powder to set your liquid foundations, or applies powder foundations perfectly

• Fluffy fan brush: Applies highlighter perfectly to the tops of your cheekbones, down your nose, onto your forehead, and below your lip easily. It also applies bronzer or contour to the hollows of your cheekbones and blends it out for a dramatic look.

The Louise Maelys 32 Piece Makeup Brush collection is the perfect set of brushes for anyone to have from makeup professionals such as myself to a makeup novice. I appreciate the fact that there is such a large range of brushes included in this set, and it's so affordable! These brushes are made very well and they do not shed, I do keep them in their brush shapers after I use them so that they keep their shape. 

To clean these brushes between uses simply spray on your brush cleaner and wipe them on a paper towel. Once every 2 weeks or so wash them with a mild baby shampoo and let them air dry naturally. Replace the brush shapers after they are dry.

I recommend these brushes to anyone. They would make the perfect gift for someone that enjoys makeup, best of all they come with their own carry case so they are easily transported.

Round Brush: Applies powder or mineral products to the skin. This is the perfect brush to get a flawless finish with powder foundation, or apply blush with ease.

Rounded Angled Brush: Applies blush or bronzer to the cheekbones perfectly.

This is a closeup look at the 5 eye or concealer brushes.

Precision Angled Brush: Great at blending products into the crease of your eye. This brush would also be great at blending a contour down the sides of your nose.

Precision Round Brush: This brush is what I use to blend out my eyeshadows. It would also be good at blending a more dramatic contour into your cheekbones. 

Precision Flat Brush: Is great to stipple concealer on your problem areas. This blends the concealer under my eyes beautifully, and helps me do a cream highlighter. Sorry this picture is blurry, it just wouldn't focus.

Precision Flat Angled Brush: This brush will blend concealer into your hard to reach areas such as the creases by your nose, or really close under your eyes.

Precision Tapered Brush: Blends out your lower lid eyeshadows nicely. This brush would also be great to add a more dramatic highlight to the tops of your cheekbones.

This is a great collection that would make a perfect gift for any girl or woman. The colors are nicely pigmented, and it's a really great value! I appreciate the fact that you can create an entire makeup look using nothing but this makeup tin.

Review: Foxbrim Complete Anti-Aging Moisturizer

I love Foxbrim's products, they are always great and this one is no exception. For those of us that are always busy I know a lengthy skincare regimen might not always be possible, so multi-purposed products are our best bet. The Foxbrim Complete Anti-Aging Moisturizer takes the place of a serum, targeted treatment, and a moisturizer saving us a few steps. This moisturizer has added retinol and antioxidants to target the visible signs of aging and to keep our skin looking healthy. 

The Ingredients:

• Vitamin A: Will gently exfoliate the skin from the inside out making it look for youthful and radiant. When using a product that uses Vitamin A always wear a sunscreen and let your Esthetician know before getting any chemical peels! Retinoids degrade in sunlight, so use this moisturizer at night right before bedtime so you can get the most out of this moisturizer! 
• Jojoba Oil: The closest natural oil to your skin's own sebum, this oil works great with your skin to deeply hydrate without clogging your pores.
• Aloe: A natural moisturizer and anti-inflammatory agent, Aloe will soothe and hydrate your skin.

Pros:

• This is a light moisturizer and it sinks into my skin almost immediately
• It leaves absolutely no residue on my skin
• My skin feels noticeably tighter after using this moisturizer
• I like that this moisturizer comes in a pump so you don't have to dig your fingers in a jar and contaminate the whole moisturizer
• My skin looks much brighter and feels baby soft

Cons: 

• This is a very lightweight moisturizer, so if you suffer from extremely dry skin this may not be enough moisture for you. This would still be a great treatment for anti-aging, just add a heavier moisturizer on top.
• This has absolutely no scent to it, for me that is a con because I like a refreshing scent to my facial products. Some people however would see this as a good thing it's all about preference!

Review: Display Corp Display Sheet Makeup Bag

I'm a licensed Esthetician and Makeup Artist, so when I was presented with the opportunity to try out and review the Display Sheet Makeup Bag, I jumped on it as fast as I could! The Display Sheet Makeup Bag is made of durable water resistant materials, and can easily fit inside of a handbag to take with you. This bag has a really cool concept, you store your makeup or skincare items in this bag, and there is a sheet feature that allows you to display all your products as you are using them.

When the display sheet is inside of the bag, it doesn't take up much space at all, there is still plenty of room for all of your makeup items.

The display sheet easily pulls out of the bag extending fully without spilling out any of the bag's contents. 

The display part of this bag is so handy especially if you're on the go and need to quickly find a product without digging through the bag forever. The sides of the display sheet are sewn together so your things don't fall off or get misplaced. 

Once you're done with the display sheet, you simply grab the end of the sheet and lift straight up. Your items will all slide off of the sheet back into the bag with no mess and no fuss.

The display sheet itself folds up neatly and is easily tucked back away inside your makeup bag! I love this concept because you don't accidentally misplace an item by digging through everything and sitting things in different places.

The Display Sheet Makeup Bag is then easily closed with a draw string closure. 

I absolutely love this bag for traveling, it's like a makeup bag and a makeup stand in one product. I would love to see this bag in different sizes, colors, and maybe even some cute patterns!
