Review: Makeup Train Case

I am a licensed Esthetician and Makeup Artist so as you can imagine I have TONS of beauty and makeup products. I also often travel to do people's makeup so having a great quality makeup train case has been one thing I've wanted for quite some time. I've tried plenty of other ones and the quality just isn't very good, or they are way too small for what I need. My Opinions:

I absolutely love this train case. I appreciate the fact that it is such a sturdy train case, there is nothing worse than a low quality train case that feels flimsy and cheap, this one feels very high quality. I also enjoy the fact that this one comes in pink, it may seem silly but sometimes it's little touches that I appreciate. The adjustable compartments are also a life saver for me. Since I am a professional Makeup Artist I carry around a large variety of makeup, and depending on the job the items can change so I like the fact that I can change my case based on my need that day.

This case is the most perfect size for me. I can fit all of my beauty and skincare products in this case and not have to pick and choose what to bring and what to leave out, everything goes in this case with room to spare!

Another great feature of this case is the removable shoulder strap. I always have my hands full so it's great that this train case comes with a shoulder strap to throw on and go!

I have very frizzy, unruly hair so styling it can be a major chore. I find that I have to straighten my hair almost every day just to be able to somewhat manage it, but all of my tools take up tons of space. My Opinions:

This 3 in 1 device by Kiloline works very well, I have very hard to straighten and hard to curl hair but this one works perfectly and leaves my hair shiny and beautiful.  My favorite part about this device is the fact that I can essentially straighten and curl my hair at the same time which is great since that eliminates the frizz and leave my hair with a beautiful smooth curl. To straighten and curl I wrap my hair around the iron and twist as I pull down. This gives me a beautiful spiral curl.

This iron reaches 400 degrees which is perfect for my hair. I do have unruly frizzy hair so the higher temperatures are exactly what I need, and I am very impressed that this one works so well and I am very happy that it heats up so quickly.

Review: Vapolli Hair Clips

I have very crazy, curly, unruly hair so I need to straighten it almost daily to make it even a little bit manageable. I section my hair down to make it easier to work with, and to get a beautiful sleek look but since I have such frizzy hair most duck bill clips either can't hold all of my hair or the hair falls right back down. These Vapolli Hair Clips stick in my hair and keep it perfectly sectioned until I'm ready to let it down. These clips have a rubber elastic inside to help aid in holding the hair.

These duck bill clips from Vapolli have really impressed me! They are lightweight yet made well, you can tell they won't just snap in two the first time you go to use them. I appreciate the Silicone band on the inside of these clips the most. These are the first brand of clip that I have seen that use that method, and I have to say it works beautifully. My hair is held perfectly with these clips and it doesn't slip out or fall down, best of all when I'm ready to take my hair down it doesn't pull or get caught!

Review: Essence of Cleopatra Premium Thieves Oil

I am a licensed Esthetician and Makeup Artist, so one of my most favorite thing is all natural Essential Oils. I use them for everything including putting them in diffusers, using them as perfumes, and even mixing them in oils when doing a service at my spa. The Premium Thieves Oil from Essence of Cleopatra is a wonderfully scented essential oil made from Clove, Eucalyptus Radiata, Cinnamon, Rosemary, and Lemon.

Review: ISA Professional Victorya Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron

I have naturally very curly, frizzy hair that is unruly unless I straighten it. I normally use a straightener on my hair every couple days or so, but I find that certain straighteners work better than others. ·         Repeat the previous step one more time

·         Continue for your entire head

My Opinions:

The ISA Professional Victorya Flat Iron has been absolutely wonderful for my hair. I find that my favorite feature of this straightener is the SMART technology that allows it to automatically adjust to your hair’s ideal temperature. This technology senses the thickness and texture of your hair and adjusts the iron’s temperature accordingly. This has really helped me save my hair because with other irons I would turn the iron way up to the max thinking that if it wasn't up that high it wouldn't do anything for my hair, which was of course false.

The Victorya Flat iron makes it extremely easy to straighten my hair, and the fact that it has pivoting plates means it doesn't miss even one single strand. This iron is also a relatively thin iron, so it’s also very easy to create beautiful bouncy curls if you wish.

The Victorya Flat Iron heats up almost instantaneously. It doesn't take long at all for this iron to be ready to go, I plugged it in and in well under 3 minutes it was hot and ready to use. As I said before my hair is extremely curly and unruly, but after using this iron it looks soft, sleek, and beautiful.

I would even recommend this iron to those of you that have short hair. It is a thin flat iron, so it’s perfect to get even the shortest pieces of hair up at the root and could be a very handy tool to use when styling your hair.

Review: Beessential Buzz Balm All Natural Peppermint Lip Balm

Winter is upon us and during the cold months of the year my lips get outrageously dry, chapped, and, yes, flaky. I hate having dry lips and sometimes it gets so bad that they crack especially at night while I’m sleeping  so I have become somewhat of a lip balm connoisseur. I find that most lip balms wear off of my lips within a few short minutes after applying and then it renders it useless to me. This Buzz Balm All Natural Peppermint Lip Balm by Beessential moisturizes my lips without leaving them feel greasy, and it sinks in to my lips immediately, making it last all day.

My Opinions:

I  absolutely love this lip balm, I have found my holy grail and I will never switch to another lip balm. I appreciate the fact that when I apply this balm it doesn't render my lips greasy feeling so the point that it’s slipping off of my lips, it actually doesn't leave them feeling like they have much of a residue at all, and I enjoy that. It takes just a second for my lips to benefit from this moisturizer, and once they do they feel completely changed. My lips can be chapped and flaking, but once I apply this balm and rub my lips together a few times they feel fresh and soft. I even enjoy applying this balm after my lips have already cracked, and it helps stop them from cracking any further.

The scent of this balm is great also, I love minty smelling lip products, and this one does not disappoint! The Peppermint is uplifting and invigorating and feels wonderful on your lips. I would recommend this lip balm by Beessential to anyone, it would also make a great gift! Get yours below:

Review: Angel 8 Pc Soak Off Shellac Gel Nail Polish

I am an Esthetician so my hands are always in different products and chemicals, so as you can imagine a regular manicure doesn’t last more than a day on my nails. I have since resorted to only using Shellac on my nails, but realized that getting my nails done by someone else every two weeks was adding up very quickly. With this 8 piece UV Gel Polish kit by Angel I am able to easily do my own shellac from the comfort of my own home!

What are the features?

·         Contains 6 UV Shellac nail polish colors, 1 base coat, and 1 top coat

·         Non toxic and does no harm to the skin

·         No harsh chemicals

·         Lasts up to two weeks+

To use the Shellac polish:

First off, you must have a UV curing light, these polishes won’t work without one!

·         File the nail in to your desired shape

·         Buff the nails slightly to leave them smooth and fresh

·         Wipe all of the nail beds and cuticles with alcohol to remove any excess oils or products

·         Apply a very thin layer of the base coat to all nails and cure with a UV lamp for about a minute

·         Brush on the UV polish color of your choice and cure in a UV lamp for 2 minutes

·         Apply another layer of the UV polish color and cure for another 2 minutes

·         Apply a thin layer of top coat and cure for 1 minute

·         After the nails have fully cured wipe off the nails with alcohol, this will remove any sticky inhibition layer and leave them glossy and shiny

My Opinions on this product:

I am very impressed with this UV polish set by Angel. For the price that it cost me to get my nails done every 2 weeks, I can now own my own full collection of UV shellac polishes. Even at professional stores ONE bottle of shellac nail polish costs me upwards of $18.00 a piece, and the top and base coats cost at least $25.00 each. With this Angel kit you are getting 6 colors plus a top coat and a base coat for just a little over the price of one polish elsewhere.

The shellac lasted very well on my nails, I wore this for two weeks, and the wear was great, I did notice a little lifting around the very bottom corners of my nails toward the end of the two weeks, but that happens with every shellac manicure I have received. As I stated earlier I am rather hard on my nails because I use my hands all day every day so to get a two week wear out of a manicure is just about a miracle! These colors all cured perfectly, and they were extremely shiny and beautiful.

Pro Tip:

When using shellac nail polishes, be extremely diligent about the painting. In every step be sure to paint the free edge of all of your nails (the end of your nail). This will greatly extend the life of your manicure!

My Opinions:

I am very impressed with how well this Best Pedicure Callus Remover works! I tend to use it on wet feet most often because I find it’s much easier to get more callus removed if it is pre-softened. I then go back in and use the remover on dry feet if I notice they are still a little rough in some areas. Another option if you have extremely callused feet is, soak the feet for 20 minutes in warm soapy water. Apply a callus removing cream or gel, use this callus remover after that has been on the feet for about 5 minutes.

This callus remover is so easy to use, and I have seen beautiful results. I appreciate the fact that I can see that it’s working. It also does all of the work for you, so it makes it very user friendly. I want to get one of these to use in my spa! Get yours below:

I have noticed that my skin has been much more soft and supple since using this serum. I actually tested this serum out by applying it on one of my cheeks and not the other. I let that sink in for about an hour then I felt my skin. The cheek where the serum was applied was noticeably softer and looked more well hydrated. I really enjoy this product. The only down side for me is the scent. It’s supposed to smell of Rose extract according to the Amazon page, but it smells exactly like strong baby powder to me. It’s not that big of a deal I can still stand it and especially since the serum is so great I don’t mind too much. This serum would be great for all skin types even oily or acne prone.
