Review: VonShef Food Sealer System

Cooking is one of my favorite things to do, however I live alone so it is very difficult to find meat packaged perfectly for just myself. I find that I wind up wasting quite a bit because I end up cooking all of it and throwing away half before I’m able to eat it, or I keep half in the packaging and it ends up with freezer burn. With the VonShef Premium Vacuum Food Saver and Sealer System I am able to vacuum seal my unused food items and keep them stored perfectly for as long as I want to. This system is so easy to use that even a kitchen novice can use it with ease!

What are the features?

Usage tips:

This VonShef Food Sealer System is a breeze to use, it isn’t difficult at all, but one word of advice to people just getting started is to take your time. Don’t rush because you want this done perfectly that way you won’t mess up and possibly ruin your food. When cutting your bags, take great care to make sure the cuts are as straight and uniform as possible; this will make for a better seal as well as a better aesthetic look when storing the sealed foods. Also, be sure to make you bags long enough especially when using the vacuum seal function. The bags should be a couple (at least 2) inches longer than whatever food item you are placing in them, this is a great rule of thumb. It’s better to have too long of bags than too short. As the final tip, make sure that you always have the lid properly closed; you should hear a click from both sides when closing, if you don’t hear that click open the lid and try again.

My Opinions:

I truly don’t know how I lived without this VonShef Food Sealer System all of these years. I feel like I am able to keep my food much longer and even grocery shopping is much simpler because I no longer have to search high and low to find “single person” packaged food items. This sounds so sad but it’s true! The Food Sealer System works like a charm! I love the fact that I can not only vacuum seal foods like meats, cheeses, fish etc, but I can also seal food items that could easily be crushed like cookies or chips.

The machine itself isn’t the quietest thing ever, but that is never an issue for me. This product does the job and does it well and that’s all that matters to me. I have been a sealing fool I actually went through my entire freezer and sealed products that I had in different packaging. One of the things I really enjoy is having all of your food sealed because then it looks nice and uniform in your freezer and you can actually fit more in there when you don’t have the big bulky packaging on it any longer.

The VonShef High Quality 15 Cup Coffee Maker has become one of my favorite kitchen appliances in my home. I enjoy having a cup of coffee before starting my day, but I would get lazy and not want to brew a cup because it took too much time out of my day. With the VonShef Coffee Maker I am able to set the exact time I want my brew to start (4:50 A.M.) and that way when I wake up at 5 A.M. my coffee is ready to go! This helps me save time and get a little energy before heading out for the day. 

This coffee maker is great, it has an ability to make 15 cups of coffee which is perfect for when my family comes over since they are all coffee drinkers as well. Since I live alone, I tend to only fill it up to the 2 cup mark and that is perfect for me. I appreciate the fact that you are able to choose how much coffee to brew, it doesn't just automatically brew as much as it wants to.

As funny as it sounds, I also enjoy the design of the VonShef Coffee Maker. My entire home has a black, white, and chrome theme so this coffee maker fits in perfectly. I am able to display it on my kitchen counter at all times, and it looks very stylish.

The VonHaus Steam Mop has completely revolutionized my way of cleaning my home. I absolutely love how easy this steam mop is to use, it takes no guesswork and your floors are left clean and sanitized.

I also love the fact that I no longer need to buy any floor cleaners, I don't like using any harsh chemicals in my home and now with the VonHaus Steam Mop I can use plain tap water to sanitize my floors. This is the perfect addition to any home, especially a home that is environmentally conscious.

Review: VonShef Slow Masticating Juicer

Juicing has been the hottest craze going on for a while now, and I had never tried it until I got my VonShef Slow Masticating Juicer. This has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen gadgets, and best of all it supports a healthy lifestyle.

The VonShef Slow Masticating Juicer comes with everything that you need to make delicious and healthy juices from your own kitchen, it even comes with a cute little brush to help you get ground fruits and veggies out of the mesh strainer. This juicer is whisper quiet which is perfect for me since I live in an apartment and don't want to make tons of noise while I'm working in the kitchen.

How to make your juice:

• Decide on what juice you would like to make, I didn't have anything in mind I just went for it and it worked haha.
• Wash your fruits and veggies.
• Peel them if applicable.
• Chop them into pieces so that they can fit into the feeder.
• Put your fruits, veggies, etc into the feeder.
• The pulp will be collected in one container and the juice will be collected in the other.

This juicer is by far my favorite thing in my kitchen at the moment. It's so much fun for me to see what kind of juices I can make and I love that it promotes a healthy lifestyle. The VonShef Slow Masticating Juicer is also super easy to clean, all you need to do is rinse it between juices, it disassembles extremely easily.

-That makes a delicious wake me up juice
