My Opinions:

I really enjoy these cutting boards because they are so versatile, the finish is very smooth so it doesn't feel like it’s dulling your knife down. You will start to see knife marks but that’s no big deal seeing as it is after all a cutting board.  I have been using these cutting boards for quite some time and they are still looking as good as they ever did, no knife marks have shown themselves as of now!

I also appreciate how easy these cutting boards are to clean, all you need to do is hand wash or throw them in the dishwasher and forget about them. This cutting board set also resists scents and stains, and they are very durable!

Review: VonShef Food Sealer System

Cooking is one of my favorite things to do, however I live alone so it is very difficult to find meat packaged perfectly for just myself. I find that I wind up wasting quite a bit because I end up cooking all of it and throwing away half before I’m able to eat it, or I keep half in the packaging and it ends up with freezer burn. This VonShef Food Sealer System is a breeze to use, it isn’t difficult at all, but one word of advice to people just getting started is to take your time. Don’t rush because you want this done perfectly that way you won’t mess up and possibly ruin your food. When cutting your bags, take great care to make sure the cuts are as straight and uniform as possible; this will make for a better seal as well as a better aesthetic look when storing the sealed foods. Also, be sure to make you bags long enough especially when using the vacuum seal function. The bags should be a couple (at least 2) inches longer than whatever food item you are placing in them, this is a great rule of thumb. It’s better to have too long of bags than too short. As the final tip, make sure that you always have the lid properly closed; you should hear a click from both sides when closing, if you don’t hear that click open the lid and try again.

My Opinions:

I truly don’t know how I lived without this VonShef Food Sealer System all of these years. I feel like I am able to keep my food much longer and even grocery shopping is much simpler because I no longer have to search high and low to find “single person” packaged food items. This sounds so sad but it’s true! The Food Sealer System works like a charm! I love the fact that I can not only vacuum seal foods like meats, cheeses, fish etc, but I can also seal food items that could easily be crushed like cookies or chips.

The machine itself isn’t the quietest thing ever, but that is never an issue for me. This product does the job and does it well and that’s all that matters to me. I have been a sealing fool I actually went through my entire freezer and sealed products that I had in different packaging. One of the things I really enjoy is having all of your food sealed because then it looks nice and uniform in your freezer and you can actually fit more in there when you don’t have the big bulky packaging on it any longer.

This burner is completely induction so you do need special pots and pans, but it is well worth it! My opinions on the product:

I am an avid cook, and I would consider myself to be a very good cook as well. I am very used to using my electric stove, which admittedly isn't very fast when it comes to boiling water for example. This Induction cooktop by Duxtop was so fast at boiling water I couldn't even believe it! This cooktop boiled water in well under three minutes  and was super easy to use. I appreciate the fact that this cooktop has a timer built right in, I’m used to having a timer on my oven but not my stove, I find this a very handy feature. I use this mainly when making things like rice or boiling eggs where timing is key.

The digital controls are very user friendly and make using this cooktop a breeze. There is no guesswork at all. With my traditional electric stove there are 6 temperature settings, but I never know exactly what temperature they are set at, with this induction cooktop I don’t have to worry about that.

I am so sold on this cooktop I want to recommend it to everyone in my family. I think I will buy a (super) early Christmas present for my mom and get her one! I believe I will now be using this more than my traditional stove. Get yours below:

Water bottles and mugs are two of my favorite things to collect, but I've never had the opportunity to own a water bottle that filters it’s own water. This water bottle has really changed my mind about drinking water straight out of the tap. I have realized since using this bottle how much better my water can taste just by having it filtered. Review: PB2 and PB2 with Chocolate

I recently got the chance to try out the PB2 and PB2 with Chocolate, which is a powdered Peanut Butter that you add water to, then it turns in to the standard Peanut Butter consistency. This product tastes absolutely amazing, and best of all it lasts a VERY long time.

The regular PB2 tastes great, it doesn't have the sweet taste that other peanut butters are that you may be used to. It has more of a toasted nut flavor without the sweetness, so it's a little bit different. I actually prefer this one to other peanut butters because of the fact that it isn't too sweet. I didn't like Peanut butter and Jelly sandwiches because they were too sweet for me, but with this PB2, it tastes much better because it's not sickeningly sweet. 

The PB2 with Chocolate is even better, this is actually one of my most favorite snacks! It's so bad, but I love mixing a little of this up here and there and just eating it on  a piece of toast or a cracker, it tastes like absolute heaven! I also appreciate the fact that these peanut butters are all natural, there are no crazy chemicals added.

 I have been trying to drink more water lately because it’s so much more healthy than drinking sodas, but I need to have my water ice cold in order to drink it. This Ice Ball Maker has been absolutely wonderful to have in my home. I find that even though the ice ball is so large it doesn’t take too long to freeze with my particular freezer model, normally two hours is all I need.

I have used these in so many ways, I mainly use them for water, but since I am so hooked on them now I have started using them with other beverages as well. I froze orange juice to add to my morning cup of orange juice without watering it down. Because these ice balls are so large you can also make flavored ice cubes very easily! I chopped up some mint and added it to my standard water ice cube as well and that was absolutely wonderful. As the ice melted it slowly infused a slight mint taste to my water which I loved. After a long day at work one of my favorite things to do is to curl up on my couch with a nice cup of tea. With the Grosche Tuscany Glass Teapot with Stainless Steel Infuser I am able to easily make a pot of wonderful tasting tea in no time. This Glass tea pot comes with a stainless steel infuser that won’t break like other glass infusers often do.

This Grosche Teapot is so beautifully made that even if you aren't a tea lover such as myself this would make a great decoration item in your home. I am a huge tea connoisseur so I would first like to say that glass tea pots are NOT in any circumstances supposed to be used to boil water on the stove. These tea pots are meant to house and steep your tea from already pre-boiled water. Simply add your tea leaves to the infuser and pour the hot water over them. This will steep your tea perfectly without damaging the tea pot in any way.

The Grosche Teapot is very easy to use, and it is designed in a very user friendly way. The pour spout doesn't drip at all which I can appreciate. There is nothing worse than spilling hot tea all over the place. The mesh infuser has micro fine openings that allow your loose tea leaves to steep without actually getting through the holes and getting in to your tea.

I love the fact that this teapot holds 4-5 cups of tea. I like steeping my tea then sitting this teapot on my coffee table for easy access throughout the night. I am able to have tea all night from one steep with this Grosche teapot.

The cleanup of this teapot is extremely easy as well. All I do is empty out the infuser and hand wash everything. It takes less than 2 minutes and it’s ready to go for the next tea! I would absolutely recommend the Grosche Teapot to anyone, it is very high quality and makes your tea drinking experience more enjoyable. Review: Homeleader Slow Juice Extractor

Since the new year is upon us, one of my resolutions is to start eating much healthier so that means that one day a week will be a clean juice day. I want to spend one day a week where I only juice to cleanse my body of toxins and give myself a boost of natural energy. With the Homeleader Slow Juice Extractor I am able to easily juice whatever I desire and still retain the nutrients I need. This juicer is a quiet juicer that takes no effort whatsoever.

This juicer has been wonderful  for getting me started on my new healthy eating routine. I find now that I actually crave a juice here and there throughout the day, and it’s so much fun coming up with new recipes.

The Homeleader juicer juices extremely easy as well. I have used Cucumbers, Oranges, Lemons, Basil, Carrots, Mangoes, Pineapple, Strawberries, Blueberries, Kale , and everything in between with this juicer and I have never had a problem. As with all juicers I removed the rind off of the fruit if applicable and cut it up into pieces small enough to fit into the juicer itself. The machine then extracts the juice and the pulp comes out dry. I appreciate the fact that the pulp comes out dry, because I have owned a few juicers in the past one of which I got a couple years ago, and I would have to run the pulp through the juicer a few times to get it dry enough.

I also appreciate the fact that this Homeleader juicer provides a large juice yield. There is nothing worse than juicing up a bunch of fruits and veggies to only yield half a glass of juice, and that is nothing  that you need to worry about with this juicer. I always tend to add a piece of Cucumber to my juices because it adds a mellow flavor but also bumps up the juice content as well. With the Homeleader juicer you are sure to extract every ounce of juice from your fruits and veggies so nothing will go to waste.
